This week the EHTC SALT Webpage www.ehtc.com/ehtc/salt.htm has been updated to include the latest in Michigan Business Tax resources.  By clicking on the "Michigan Business Tax Resources" button on the right sidebar, a load of information is available on the Michigan Business Tax.

The Michigan Business Tax Act has been updated to include all amendments, twenty-eight up to September 1, 2008.  We have taken the very difficult to read statute, presented it a 12-point font for easier reading with bolded section headings and a ten page table of contents to make it easier to find relevant statute.

Revenue Administrative Bulletins have been included, two relating to the Michigan Business Tax up to September 1, 2008.  We have also included the draft RAB on nexus.

Frequently Asked Questions have been updated, 108 pages have been posted through September 1, 2008.  We have added a Table of Contents and a eight page index to make it easier to find a FAQ.

In addition, the webpage includes links to both the National Federation of Independent Business (NFI Michigan Business Tax Estimator as well as a link to the Michigan Department of Treasury Michigan Business Tax Estimator.

EHTC's goal is to make available the most comprehensive and up to date Michigan Business Tax resources.
